Russian hackers have used Kaspersky antivirus to invade the NSA

Russian hackers used the antivirus program developed by Kaspersky Labs to steal classified information from the United States National Security Agency (NSA).

It all started when an NSA employee took home secret organization files without authorization. The employee only wanted to advance work, that is, he had no intention of passing on the information to third parties. However, your computer was protected with a Kaspersky antivirus that supposedly enabled attackers to keep an eye on the operating system.

Any one of our experts would consider it unethical to abuse the user's trust to facilitate the spying of any government, said Eugene Kaspersky.

At 13 in September, the National Security Department (DHS) ordered government agencies that used Kaspersky products to remove them and replace them with other approved software within 90 days.

In a statement, Kaspersky Labs says there is no evidence that the company is involved with Russian intelligence. Its founder, Eugene Kaspersky, vehemently denied working for Moscow.

Kaspersky has widely respected software for its virus-capturing effectiveness and is used on millions of computers worldwide.
