Meta's founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, announced via its Instagram that the company will expand the functionalities of NFT (non-fungible tokens) to more than one hundred countries.
Users of the social network will be able to include NFTs in their 'feed' and private messages, as well as in Stories via Augmented Reality. Unfortunately for NFT aficionados, the ability to sell and buy via the social network is not yet available.
In addition, Instagram will now support the Coinbase and Dapper digital wallets, whereas it was already possible to use Rainbow, MetaMask and Trust Wallet. The Flow blockchain will also be supported, thus joining Ethereum and Polygon.
To mark the occasion, Zuckerberg also shared a photo of his own baseball card, which interested parties will be able to purchase both physically and in the form of an NFT.
