Instagram reveals two new features on the platform

If you are seeing errors with the Instagram, now there is a new way to report them to the platform: just shake the phone.

The revelation was made by Adam Mosseri, director of Instagram, who, through a video revealed in his account, revealed the new functionality coming to the platform's app. Now Instagram users on Android and iOS can quickly report platform bugs by simply shaking their smartphone.

This action will activate the app's “shortcut” to send a bug report, and can be used when the user sees something that is not as it should be. The aim is to provide a simple and quick way to report errors, without having to access complicated menus to navigate.

Mosseri says this shortcut will allow users to share bug reports more quickly, as well as a description of what they would be doing at the time they found the issue.

BUT: Instagram: New feature will allow users to take a “pause” from the social network

From there, the engineers of the social network will be able to better analyze what happened and solve the problem. Note that this feature is not entirely new, as Facebook also has something similar implemented on its platform.

Another novelty that was also revealed by the executive of the social network concerns the photos published on carousel, which now users can remove only one photo from all those published. If you find that a photo was incorrectly published within a carousel publication, it is now possible to remove only the intended photo instead of having to recreate the publication.
