Launched in 2007 by American developer Matt Mullenweg and English developer Mike Little, the WordPress is a popular free and open source content management system. It is used by more than 60% of website owners and bloggers.
A FiFi Finance , a multi-lingual global financial portal startup registered in Estonia, paid the jacksiro (expert WordPress Kenya) to translate the platform as part of its vision to promote African languages and content online. The startup is currently building a financial portal in Swahili. The founders hope that the portal will be the main finance portal in the most widely spoken African language.
