Mozambique: Tmcel customers will be able to access the platform of the multinational Ericsson

Mozambique Telecom, SA (Tmcel) customers will now benefit from financial capabilities through an Ericsson mobile financial services solution by gaining direct access to Ericsson's Mobile Wallet platform.

According to what was revealed, this technological solution comes to expand the source of financial transactions, in order to contribute even more to the economic and digital development in the country, under the partnership that Tmcel made with Ericsson's Mobile Wallet.

This cooperation also appears in Tmcel's technological modernization objectives, where it chose Ericsson to update the mobile wallet service, mKesh, through the implementation of the European company's platform, which is currently available.

Please note that the Ericsson Mobile Wallet is a world-leading mobile financial services solution, which is built on the latest security technologies and open architecture framework principles.

The said platform will also train, in matters of financial management, people who do not have access to traditional banking services, as well as Tmcel customers will benefit from efficient, fast and easy-to-use services, through which they will be able to store, transfer, withdraw cash, make payments to merchants and utility providers, and borrow savings.

This mKesh update comes as an important milestone in Mozambique's digital transformation and economic development program and a key enabler for linking and supporting new emerging industries in the country.
