A MultiChoice launched the new DStv Explore 2 ARRIS International plc decoder to customers in South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa.
The flagship decoder is the fourth generation of HD PVR devices that ARRIS and MultiChoice have launched together and makes it easier for MultiChoice customers to access.
Second Gerdus Van Eeden, from the CTO Naspers group, MultiChoice has invested in technology that allows it to offer its customers the leap in entertainment at the best value and DStv Explora 2 will help offer customers a wide range of entertainment that they can stream or download to watch. The device has a hard disk, a new remote control that has buttons with motion sensor in addition to other details.
We believe that Explora 2 should arrive in Angola in a short time, since MultiChoice has many customers in our country and in the last few days it has had strong competition. It is also known that MultiChoice has a long-term partnership with ARRIS, which is a North American company that produces equipment for telecommunications.
It is not yet known the official price that the device will be marketed in Angola, however the bad news is that the storage space in this new decoder gets to be lower than its predecessor, which will be compensated with more time streaming programs , using the Catch Up service. In South Africa Explore 2 costs 1.499,00 Rands (equivalent to 21.000,00 Kwanzas).
