The World of artificial intelligence is complex, in which nowadays this science seeks to make the devices think like humans, the investigation in this area has presented significant improvements, to the point that an African is willing to create the first computer with neurons.

This is the Nigerian Oshiorenoya Agabi. who after working eight years at a Swiss robotics company, took postgraduate courses in theoretical physics, bioengineering and research on how neurons communicate with each other and how it would be possible to make them communicate with silicon chips. With about fifteen years of experience in the field, Agabi then founded his company named Koniku when she felt she was beginning to find the answer.

According to the CEO of Koniku Oshiorenoya Agabi, it is possible for a computer to use real and biological neurons. The main objective is to be able to program neurons created in the laboratory to perform specific tasks and, with that, create “live” processors, capable of learning, and more efficient than today's chips.

Man also guarantees that this will be possible, since the cells of our brain over time are able to determine the most efficient connections between neurons to perform certain tasks. Thanks to this characteristic, a human brain requires about 10 watts of power to function. O Tianhe-2, the most powerful supercomputer ever built, in turn, requires 24 megawatts - 2,4 million times more.

This idea may seem odd up to a point, but the Nigerian guarantees that in two years Koniku will make it look normal.
