A Multicaixa network has an accumulated record, in the first three months of this year, of a financial movement of 7.355,86 billion kwanzas, equivalent to 8,8 billion dollars (exchange rate of 828,48 kwanzas for each dollar).
The data was released by Interbank Services Company (EMIS), where they show that ATMs are the most used channels to move money, with a record of 2.613 billion kwanzas moved.
This is followed by the “Multicaixa Express” service, which accounts for 2.507 billion. In other words, operations carried out at ATMs and Express only have a difference of just over 106 billion kwanzas.

The value is also almost a third of the 2024 General State Budget, which is 24 billion kwanzas.
In relation to the number of movements carried out from January to March, the Express service is the one that most attracts users. There were 209,6 million transactions, well above the 131,9 million carried out via Automatic Payment Terminals (TPA) and 116,5 million through ATMs.
The aggregated data also shows that of the 7.355 billion kwanzas registered, 3.798 billion are transfers. They represent 73,8 percent of the number and 59 percent of the value moved.
