After an outstanding 2020, in which it conquered the Unitel Go Challenge and Seedstars Luanda, Sartup Partner is ready to reach other levels.
As the winner of the Seedstars edition in Angola, the Partner will compete for a place in the world final. To do this, you must first supplant other African startups and show that you are ready to compete for the chance to win $ 500k in investments in the Seedstars World Competition 2020/21!
The Seedstars team divided the countries / startups into groups and only one startup from each episode will make it to the Regional Final.
The 1st episode of the regional competition in Africa had 5 presentations: Rwanda, Mozambique, Tanzania, Senegal and Ghana.
The 2nd episode featured: Mali, Malawi, Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe and Nigeria.
A Partner, representing Angola, will have startups from Burundi, Ethiopia and Uganda on the panel. The presentation of this 3rd group starts today (March 3) at 15:00, you can follow directly on the YouTube channel of Seedstars or in the box below.
The presentations of the startups winning the local editions, will take place from the 1st to the 5th of March 2021. On the last day, the African representatives will be announced for the world edition. The jury for this final also has Angolan participation, with Joel Epalanga (co-founder of KiandaHub and ambassador of Seedstars in Angola) assessing which startups will best represent the continent. Two African startups have already won the grand prize, Giraffe (from South Africa) and Agrocenta (from Ghana).
