Startup BayQi to be present on the Angolan Stock Exchange soon, says founder

A startup BayQi, which consists of a web platform with a very diversified business portfolio, with more than 2.500 different products, could be on the Angola Stock Exchange (BODIVA) very soon, in order to connect Africa and the world, as well as reach the one million user mark.

This guarantee came from the “founder” of the startup, Fátima Almeida, in an interview with Jornal de Angola, informing that it is already for the next the delivery of the license from the BNA, and which will authorize BayQi to act as a non-banking financial institution.

Still talking about the future of the online sales startup, Fátima Almeida says that BayQi is currently working to improve its logistics, develop partnerships with banking, Epal, Edel and other suppliers of products and services, thus increasing its range of business.

In an exclusive interview with that Angolan daily, Fátima Almeida also stressed that BayQi already makes deliveries in the country's 18 provinces, with greater incidence in the capital, Luanda, and that the launch of the super happy by the startup represents another important step, since, in addition to products such as household appliances, shoes and others, the web sales platform will also sell recharges, electricity services, money transfer, that is, a range of products and services available to the client.

About the recognition of being considered as “one of the 12 most influential women on the African continent”, the “founder” says it is the “award is a very big recognition. It is the first time that we leave Angola to make a presentation and we are recognized, which represents a vote of confidence from international institutions, who believe that this company, in the short or medium term, can become a unicorn startup, that is, a startup which by the indicators could become a multimillionaire".
