Registration is now open for the MEET THE TÔSHIKAS program, where startups and innovative projects from Africa will join Japanese investors for sustainable development, a partnership between the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Accelerates Angola.

According to what was revealed by the MenosFios editorial team, MEET THE TÔSHIKAS is a UNDP pilot project, which is focused on empowering young African entrepreneurs with critical policy support, technical cooperation and financial contributions.

The program comes amid a dearth of publicly available information about the vibrant startup ecosystem in many African regions, which increases investor hesitancy. Therefore, UNDP recognizes the critical gaps in startups' investment readiness caused by a lack of pre-investment exposure and communication with potential investors.
