A UNITEL once again launches the UNITEL Go Challenge contest, to identify the best
Digital business startups in the country, as well as boosting the Digital ecosystem
angolan.
Now in its 8th edition, the UNITEL GO Challenge is open to all entrepreneurs and
country's developers, as well as Angolans residing in the diaspora. Giving,
thus, the possibility for competitors to present their projects, in a
individually or in a group of up to 5 elements. It is mandatory to submit a
functional prototype/product, already launched in the market (e.g. mobile application, website or
other digital technology).
The UNITEL GO Challenge intends to be a Digital Business contest, due to the fact that
70% of the evaluation criteria must be linked to business management, such as
operationalization of the business and the constitution of teams, with economic viability.
The UNITEL Go Challenge has the premise that “any programmer can
develop a Front Office, but only a robust Startup can develop
a sustainable business”.
Among the requirements for participation, the following stand out:
- Permission to use any development program;
- Explanatory video submission of less than 16 MB, up to 1 minute of
duration, where the functioning of the Digital Business is demonstrated; - Document presentation with functional description (PowerPoint or PDF)
based on the template available on the UNITEL website.
The developed project must be sent to the email address
[email protected], in the period from March 20 to April 21, 2023, to carry out the screening process, for the later stages, until the final classification.
The winning projects are classified in the following categories:

The winner will be entitled to:
- 4 M KZ for the Winning Startup and 1 year of incubation at UNITEL Go
- Acceleration Program and access to the UNITEL accelerator
- Up to 5 Laptops per Startup
- 1 year of Telecommunications Free
- Disclosure on UNITEL Media channels and partners
