The company UNITEL is once again present at the main world technological summit, the Web Summit 2021, taking place from November 01st to 4th, in Lisbon, Portugal.
According to the official statement from the telephone operator, to which our newsroom had access, UNITEL's presence will be with the theme "UNDERSTANDING IS A WAY TO CHANGE YOUR FUTURE", where it leads to the most important world event of technology, entrepreneurship and innovation, its valence in the field of promoting national technological entrepreneurship, with support in large and varied initiatives that aim to boost the country's digital entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Along with UNITEL, will be the Angolan startups that won the last edition of UNITEL Go Challenge, namely: the big winner Pay3, startup fintech payment services provider that offers its customers the payment model for products and services in installments with immediate delivery, which will participate in person and the classified honorable mentions angowaste in the category of Innovation and Deya, in the Social Responsibility, which will participate virtually.
BUT: UNITEL Go Challenge 2021 reaches final gala
It should be noted that UNITEL GO Challenge is a digital business competition open every year to Angolan entrepreneurs and developers as well as Angolans residing in the Diaspora. In 2021, more than 230 projects were submitted to the contest, with only 10 reaching the final and 3 of them convincing the panel of judges and winning prizes, including the participation in the Web Summit 2021.
Although it is best known for its technological aspect, the Web Summit 2021 will also address themes such as the marketing and the media, society and current times, commerce, lifestyle, and business development.
The event will take place at the Altice Arena, in Lisbon, and UNITEL will be represented at the FIL-1 pavilion, Stand E-107.
