UNITEL holds the 2nd conference on Internet of Things

A UNITEL will hold on the 16th of December the 2nd conference on Internet of Things(Internet of Things – IoT), according to a press release that reached our editorial office.

The event, codenamed UNITEL IoT Conference, was launched in 2020 and is dedicated to the debate and reflection on Internet of Things (IoT) trends in the world, in particular the African continent, as well as its framework in the national entrepreneurship market , as an opportunity to transform the economy and social dynamics, not forgetting, of course, the challenges of privacy (personal data), security and environmental sustainability.

For this 2nd conference, it will have a wide range of guests “expert'” in Internet of Things – IoT, such as Mark Stevens(IBM), Loide Monteiro(Smarty City CV), António Nunes(Angola Cables) and Almicar Safeca(UNITEL) .

Also noteworthy are the various panels that will be addressed at the technological event, such as “The main challenges of IoT implementation in Africa” with approaches from Guevara Cruz (Smarty City CV), Pedro Freudenthal (UNICANDA) and Nsilu Ferreira (UNITEL).

Also in this 2nd conference, “IoT Security in 2021: A business perspective” will also be addressed, with interventions by José Sobreira(UNITEL), Eulálio Rola(i35) and Hélio Pereira (CyberSecur).
