Twitch is a very popular platform for Gamers, as they use it to stream games, which makes it known by many people. But unfortunately, this service is now at the top of the tech world, and not for good reason: suffered a data theft invasion.
According to what has been found so far, and that the newsroom of Menos Fios arrived today (07/10), more than 125 GB of Twitch information was released on the Internet. In these disclosed data, we can see the platform's source code, the users' passwords, as well as other very relevant user information.
It should also be noted that there are also many other data that have been made public, from data since 2019 on payments to streamers, such as user passwords.

This leak of information has already been recognized by Twitch itself, on the social network Twitter, although it has not revealed how it happened. Apparently, and from what has been revealed, this will only be the first of more publications with information that will be done.

If you are a Twitch user, the Menos Fios team recommends that you immediately change your passwords and activate 2-factor authentication for your accounts. This is performed in the settings, on the tab Security and Privacy.
