VIth Telecom Forum takes place in the morning

After its last edition with the theme: “The contribution of ANGOSAT-2 to mobile communications and the challenges of cybersecurity”, the Telecom Forum is back tomorrow, Friday, September 15th, Jornal Expansão holds the VIth TELECOM Forum at the Intercontinental hotel, in Luanda, from 08:30 am. Choice of theme

The digitalization of the economy depends on the quality and reliability of infrastructure, the ability to attract investment for its development and the launch of new digital products that can add value to the lives of people and companies. These are the challenges for the coming years in the telecommunications and information technology sector, supporting this path towards digitalization.

It is in this sense that the VI TELECOM FORUM of the newspaper EXPANSÃO will have as its theme “The challenges of infrastructures, financing and new digital concepts”.

Agenda

After opening, the first moment will be marked with three presentations:

  • Matias Borges, National Director of Telecommunications and Information Technologies, will address the topic “The existing infrastructure network in the country and its future development”;
  • Filipe Colaço, Executive Director at EY Angola will address the topic “Conditions and Forms of Financing for the Economy Digitalization Project”;
  • Diogo Eloi de Sousa from Global Client Lead Partner will talk about the “New Concepts and Digital Products for the Angolan Market”.

Round table

Participating in the round table with the theme “The Challenges of Infrastructure, Financing and New Digital Concepts” will be Miguel Geraldes (CEO UNITEL), Gonçalo Farias (Administrator of Africell), Marcus Valdez (General Director of DStv Angola), Carlos Pinho (Managing Partner of QUALITY), Paulo Alves (Executive Administrator of BFA) and Lutuima Vaz da Conceição (general director of New cognito (Mitrelli Group). João Armando, Director of the newspaper Expansão will moderate the debate.

The closing session will be held by INACOM's PCA, Joaquim Muhongo, who on behalf of the market regulator, will summarize what was debated during the morning and bring the conclusions of this VIth Telecom Forum.
