One of the great novelties of Windows 11 was the arrival of Android to this system. As with Linux, Google's system was also integrated into Microsoft's proposal, in order to give users access to more apps and features.

As a system in constant development, the Microsoft now has a novelty for Windows 11. Android 13, the latest version from Google, is now available for testing on the new system and should arrive soon.

As with other software, the WSA (Windows Subsystem for Android) also has an Insider program. This works in parallel to what exists for Windows 11 and guarantees many novelties in advance to be tested and evaluated by users.

Under this program, Android 13 now arrives on Windows 11 and WSA. this news was revealed very silently by Microsoft, in one of its GitHub channels, associated with these company developments.

BUT: Microsoft stops providing technical support for Windows 7 and Windows 8

With Android 13, Microsoft promises that the startup of this version will be 50% faster. Of course, in addition to that, there are more news to ensure that the new Windows 11 proposal is even better for users. The list of news is as follows:

  • Added a new command that turns off WSA for automation
  • Mouse click input improvements
  • Clipboard stability improvements
  • App resizing improvements
  • Updated to Intel Bridge Technology for Android 13
  • Reliability improvements in opening media files on Windows
  • Jump list entries for apps that support them

This novelty arrives with the most recent update, marked with the code 2211.40000.7.0. If you want to test the new version, you must join the associated Insider program, and for that you must register this page from Microsoft.

The most curious thing about this news is that Microsoft manages to beat many brands with the arrival of Android 13 to Windows 11. It is not an integration that has to interact with specific hardware, but it still required work to adapt it and be able to run in this system.

Despite all the work already done, there is still no final version accessible to users. It is expected that Android 13, in this case, will soon reach all Windows 11 users and thus guarantee Microsoft another important integration in its system.
