Xbox One S

Rumors were correct, Microsoft will even release a new version of Xbox One, 40% lower than the current console and support for 4K resolution. The device was named Xbox One S (and the “S” is really Slim).

The official announcement happened yesterday, at the opening of Microsoft's conference at E3. As expected, the new console is smaller and will be white. The “command” has also undergone some changes from the current one.

Launch

August is the month for Xbox One S to hit stores in select markets.

Pricing

As has been standard in the latest releases, the new model will have different prices, depending on the storage capacity:

  • 300 USD - for the version with 500 GB of memory,
  • 350 USD - for the 1 TB version and
  • 400 USD - for the 2 TB version.

Key Features

In addition to the changes mentioned above, the new version of the device has a redesigned look, in addition to improvements as an integrated power supply (thus excluding that "charger" horrible), internal hard disk of greater capacity and compatibility with videos in 4K resolution. The controller has added a better texture and compatibility with bluetooth sensors.

This is a “response” to Sony, which confirmed the launch of the PlayStation 4 Neo, a new version of PS4 that promises to have an above average graphics performance.
