O Windows 10 Microsoft received some news a few weeks ago, which are already available for users to download, but some are unable to install it due to the Avast Antivirus.
After several user reports, Microsoft confirmed earlier this month that the version was blocked on Intel and Toshiba SSDs, preventing machines with incompatible hardware from installing the update. Now, it looks like the company is blocking the installation of systems running Avast antivirus.

In an official note, Avast confirmed that Microsoft has temporarily disabled the updates, but that both companies are working together to fix the problem.
According to what is described, the machines stop starting, they block themselves permanently and without possibility of recovery. Microsoft quickly acknowledged the error and tried to block the installation of the update on machines that might have problems.
However, until the situation is resolved, Windows 10 users will only have to make a decision to be able to install the April 2018 Update, uninstall the Avast software.
