Since its official launch, Windows 10 has had two major updates. There has long been talk of the next major update that will be available on April 30th and will include several features designed to make screen time more efficient.

What are the new features we will have?

One of the great novelties is the Timeline, which allows you to go back in time up to 30 days to find the things the user has been working on. It works on all devices, as long as the user is signed in to their account Microsoft, so it can do some searching on your phone while you're away, and then pick it up on your desktop later.

Another important resource is the Focus Assist, designed to eliminate the myriad Web distractions that hinder productivity. Activates and blocks emails, updates and notifications, once off it will give you a summary of what the user has lost. It's customizable, so if you're expecting a specific email, you can choose what information you can find.

Other notable features include adjustments to the Microsoft Edge, such as tabbing and autofilling Web payment forms, as well as updates to the Dictation. Instead of searching for the voice input application, the user can capture the spoken word in any text field by simply pressing Win + H. The user can also use voice capabilities to manage their smart home from their PC if they have a compatible thermostat.

Other additions include simplified IT tools for corporate customers, new photo experiences, 3D and Mixed Reality, security enhancements and game enhancements. The update will be available for free as a download on 30's April 2018 Monday.
