Intel's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) decided to expand his decisions to an even more challenging level: playing a game of League of Legends for charity.
Intel has one of the world's leading sports franchises Extreme Master, its CEO is not obliged to participate in this game, although he could leave it to the dominant Koreans of this branch, the Koreans represent 90% of the winners of all the electronic sports championships.
However, Brian Krzanich, CEO of Intel, decided to play the League of Legends to raise funds to combat “cyberbullying”.
The event will be organized by ESL, and Brian Krzanich will play with nine other (9) famous players of the League of Legends before an audience of 7.500 players. The funds will be donated to the CyberSmile foundation that fights against cyberbullying, and will calculate the points Brian Krzanich and his team will make against the enemy.
It is the first time that the leader of a multinational decides to play the League of Legends for a cause of charity, and it will not be surprising if the other leaders in the future decide to adopt the same idea.
The game will take place at the Extreme Masters San Jose event on 21 in November. This will be the third game of the day. The Championship will be broadcast live on the official account of the ESL Twitch.
