Digital crime highlighted in “Academic Week” at ISPLH

With the aim of addressing further investigations into digital crime, an “Academic Week” was recently held promoted by students from the Instituto Superior Politécnico Lusíada do Huambo.

According to the coordinator of the IT course at the university institution, Lanadiana Monsanto, speaking to ANGOP, said that the Academic Week runs until the 22nd and plans to bring together students and teachers, in an initiative that aims to consolidate the pedagogical themes of the private higher education institution. .

He said that the approach to digital crime appears to prepare students about the new challenges related to cyber crimes, at a time when new information and communication technologies are being used in the country.

He explained that, in addition to the subjects discussed in the classroom, students will have the opportunity to share the academic projects developed and deepen pedagogical values, in order to contribute to social and economic development, through research contextualized in the province of Huambo.

The person in charge announced that during the event the participants will also discuss the New General Labor Law, which comes into force on the 26th of this month, as well as aspects linked to mental health, so that students are increasingly more, knowledgeable in these programs.
