A Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), continues to be one of the biggest absences in the foldable cell phone segment, but, according to the most recent rumors, it seems that the company is working on some devices in this category.
One of them is the long-awaited iPhone foldable screen, a device that was (apparently) targeted for the end of 2026, but which, according to the South Korean publication Alpha Business, has been 'pushed' to the beginning of 2027.

As we saw recently, this decision should take into account not only the necessary preparation to produce the device in sufficient quantities, but also to coincide with the iPhone's 20 years of existence.
Before this foldable iPhone, the iPad with a foldable screen should hit the market. Reportedly, Apple is working on two models of this iPad, with the smaller of the two planned for 2026 or 2027 and the larger for 2028.
