Over time, the technological means have undergone changes and adjusted according to the tendencies and the tastes of each one. We are always adapting ways for interpersonal communication to be more fluid and streamlined.

In the decade of 80, in the United States, through Scott Fahlman the emoticons, a way to express emotions using standard keyboard characters. What was a simple smile "🙂" was transformed and became famous, gaining other more complex typefaces.

In the 90 years, in Japan, the emojis by Shigetaka Kurita. The set of ready-made images has the same purpose as the emoticons; make some conversations unpretentious and relaxed.

Apple was the first company outside Japan to join the emojis, followed by Google and Microsoft, respectively. If we visit each of the application stores of these companies we will find a date of versions of the same application, some even guarantee to have available more than a thousand "dolls".

Initially they were crafted to appeal to Japanese teenagers, but after their explosion in 2010 with the launch of iOS 4, not even adults became indifferent to the practicality that pictograms provide.

More recently, social networks have decided to join the fashion, and both Twitter and Facebook allow emoji publications.

If for yourself this is not enough, there is a group of developers that promises a social network just emojis.
