During the round table held at 2017 Forum, the participants of the same, addressed about "The high costs of telecommunications Angola", where they presented several factors that contribute to the fact that Angolan consumers continue to pay dearly to enjoy telecommunications services.

There are several popular theories, but nothing better than listening to the top managers of top telecommunications companies in Angola. During the conversation 2 presented important factors to make this a reality:

  1. High cost of infrastructure: Angola does not produce infrastructures in the telecommunication segment, so everything must be imported, and the costs are high;
  2. Lack of electricity: According to the explanation of the representatives of some companies that were part of the round table, practically the telecommunications infrastructures of the companies in Angola work the generators base, since the electrical energy still remains a factor to be worked, taking into account the costs fuel costs in the country, so it is important that the services provided by these companies also have high costs.

The bureau consisted of representatives from the MS TELCOM (Roger Ferreira), Unitel (Almicar Safeca), Angola Cables (Antonio Nunes), DSTV (Eduardo Continentino) and Eduardo Fraústo (EMIS) having been moderated by Carlos Rosado de Carvalho.

  1. In Angola everything is expensive due to the lack of competition and total monopoly, companies take advantage of these small details. I can't believe how a 1200 kz card or 40 min can chat, when in Namibia with 500 kz I have a balance and 2gb of internet. We need more companies to end these types of nonsense

  2. Do you want to see that you need to take a course to find out why telecommunications are expensive in Angola?
    Whose Unitel is it? whose other companies are they? who rules in Angola and imposes? who dictates the rules? Answer: the girl in the chicken eggs business who got rich selling eggs when even dry rats were sold to quell hunger, because chickens were rare to see ... well ... Donald Duck films and stories $$
