Chrome 67 has gained support for the Web Authentication protocol, which enables online sites and services to use integrated physical devices or connected to the computer / mobile device (such as biometric readers or USB tokens) to authenticate the user without having to enter a password.

Another highlight in the 67 version of Chrome is the new Generic Sensor API, which allows websites to access the motion sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, etc.) of the devices.
