Paratus Group will resell Starlink services in Africa

Recently the INACOM did not approve the launch of services of Starlink in Angola for the second quarter of 2023, failed due to lack of approval from the regulator, but the News guarantees that it will be available in Angola from the fourth quarter of this year.

To our surprise, the Paratus Group announced that it had signed an agreement as a distributor of Starlink's high-speed services across the African continent. This agreement will allow Paratus to provide Starlink to its customers across Africa as operating licenses are granted to Starlink in those countries. Initially, and with immediate effect, Starlink will be made available by Paratus in Mozambique, Kenya, Rwanda and Nigeria, before being extended to more countries (which could be the case of Angola).

With this agreement, Paratus, through its subsidiary in Angola (Paratus Angola formerly called ITA – Internet Technologies Angola) will be able to provide its customers with fixed, mobility and maritime services with immediate effect (If no further authorization from INACOM is required). Paratus will be able to provide its customers with business support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Will Starlink work in the country via Paratus Angola?
