O Instagram launched on Thursday (01 / 02) the Text mode in Stories. Now, in addition to photos, videos, boomerangs and live broadcasts, texts can be read on the platform.
According to the social network, this is a new way to share everything that comes to the user's mind, but without having to resort to photos or videos. In the new feature, there is a catalog of different fonts, styles and colors. The new fonts can also be used in other Story formats, like photos and boomerangs,
How to use
- Open the camera, you will see "Text" beside "Normal" or "Live";
- Write what come to mind and then tap the button at the top of the screen to switch the font and choose from options such as Modern, Neon, Typewriter and Strong;
- Explore customization options such as: background color (tap the circle at the bottom left), text color (select text), accent color (tap “A” to select styles). You can also add a background photo by tapping the camera icon (at the bottom right);
- When you're done, tap “>” to add stickers or use other creative tools.
As always, the story disappears 24 hours after being published. According to Instagram, the update is available as part of version 30, both for iOS in the App Store, as to Android on Google Play.
