Angola will have another XNUMX electric cars arriving in the country in February, adding to the already XNUMX electric cars in circulation throughout the country, reveals the Jornal Economic value.

According to that Angolan newspaper, another two thousand branded vehicles will arrive Led EV, produced by Ledo Holding, one of the largest manufacturers of electric vehicles in China, and come from an investment plan of more than 22 million dollars.

Electric cars will be sold in a single payment of 7,5 million kwanzas, although they can also be purchased in two installments, with an initial installment of 1,8 million kwanzas, representing a much lower acquisition compared to cars powered by gasoline and diesel.

The first "environmentally friendly" cars arrived in Angola in January 2020, with the Chinangol company seal and to be used in the taxi service of the T'Leva app, which currently has more than 800 vehicles registered on its platform , and another XNUMX belonging to individuals, reports the Angolan newspaper.

For T'Leva's Commercial and Marketing Director, Wilson Ganga, speaking to Valor Económico, says that electric cars have the advantage of being “cheaper and more economical and, because they don't use fuel, they don't pollute the environment” , also informing that customers who buy the cars are entitled to two-year maintenance and a charger.

According to the Manager, the company has already defined three charging points located at the Pumangol pumps at Rocha Pinto, Patriota and Nova Vida, where the driver can use an electronic card that costs between 5 and XNUMX kwanzas at the company automatically charge at these points, as well as can be charged at home.
