Mark Zuckerberg admits problem with social network Threads

The founder and CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, admitted in the presentation of the company's financial results that the company's new social network and 'sister' of Facebook and Instagram, Threads, has a user retention problem.

A Threads it took less than a week to reach the level of 100 million people subscribed, a good sign that (however) is of little use if the platform fails to convince these users to remain on the social network.

"Obviously, if you have more than 100 million people signing up, ideally it would be great if all of them or even half of them stayed [on Threads]. we are not there yet", admitted the executive president of the Meta.

BUT: Threads gets chronological feed

Says Reuters that Zuckerberg admitted that the retention of users of Threads “not perfect”, hoping, however, that this aspect will be improved over the coming weeks and months as the company adds more features.
