[Mozambique] Mocubela gains improvement in mobile phone services

The population of the administrative post of Bajone, District of Mocubela in the province of Zambézia, already has telephone services in the voice, data and internet components, thanks to the installation of the cellular mobile station.

The station was inaugurated by the district administrator, Sertório João Fernando, accompanied by the Chairman of the Board of Directors (PCA) of the National Institute of Communications of Mozambique (INCM), Tuaha Mote.

The project, funded and developed by Vodacom Mozambique, came about following a request made by the local population to the government.

In his intervention, the District Administrator thanked the mobile operator and the INCM for having responded to the population's request.

Sertório João Fernando said that the service was greatly missed by the local population and asked other mobile phone operators to invest in the area of ​​communication in different places in the district, as it is extensive and has many administrative posts not covered.

For its part, Tuaha Mote appealed to the local population to preserve the infrastructure and be vigilant to prevent its vandalism.
