Ericsson and MTN Nigeria reached a historic milestone with the successful launch of 5G services in that country. This historic agreement is the result of a fruitful 21-year collaboration, which reaffirms a rich culture of partnership between the two parties.

The first phase of the rollout covers certain parts of Lagos and Nigeria, where Ericsson's 5G technology – which includes 5G Radio Access Network and NSA Packet Core, will accelerate the development and digitization of key sectors such as education and healthcare.
