Netflix has just taken its first steps to enter the video game segment, by making available three first games on its streaming platform, although currently limited to only three countries.
Users of the streaming giant in Spain, Italy and Poland will be able to access S gameshooting hoops, Teeter Up e Card Blast from their mobile phones inside the app, where this limitation in the number of games and countries is so that the company can test this new concept of the company in a controlled manner.
By accessing the Android app in these countries, users will now find a Games tab and from there, they can download and install selected titles. On the first access, they are asked to login, where they must use their Netflix access credentials, explains the Tech Crunch.
At this stage, which serves as a prelude, Netflix only released games associated with its hit series Stranger Things, but it should be noted that these same video-games have no connection with the content available in streaming. The new bet is on casual games, free and presented without advertisements, where the company intends to use mobile games to provide another entertainment alternative.

New and old games are available from today, 28th of September, (in Poland, previous titles from Stranger Things could already be used). the titles Stranger Things: 1984 e Stranger Things 3: The Game were already available on the Play Store, but now new players can discover them directly through the Netflix app.
“It's still in the early days, but we're thrilled to be able to bring these exclusive games as part of the Netflix account – no ads and no in-app purchases”, explains the company in a statement.
The company plans to expand the offer of games in more countries, as well as to the iOS version, although it has not yet been announced when it will be available to African users, namely in Angola.
