When talking about changing operating systems, the first concern is not to lose data. That's why many users are content with the devices they use to avoid the constraints of an unsuccessful switch.
Microsoft knows this and wants to convince Android users to test their Windows Phone platform. To do this he developed an application (one version for Android and another for Windows Phone) to gather the data on Android and put them in the right place on Windows Phone, giving two options for the execution:
- Wifi access (immediate data transfer)
- Or using the cloud, that is, the service OneDrive, where the user will send the data from the Android device and search later on the WP device.
This application will help to transfer only the user data, the applications will not be transferred.
