Angolan teenager distinguished in the NASA Astronomy and Physics contest

Angolan teenager Luami Valente was one of the main highlights of the Astronomy and Physics competition, which took place at NASA, in the United States of America, where she won several medals.

The information was revealed by sociologist and former Secretary of State for the Ministry of Social Communication, Celso Malavoloneke, noting that the Angolan representative took home three medals from the renowned competition.

"Thank you daughter for representing us so well. For taking away our shame. God bless you and illuminate your steps with the light of his spirit and grant you the bright future you deserve“, wrote the sociologist.

Luami Valente is a student at the International Private School Complex (CEPI), located in Kifica, Luanda.

About the Astronomy and Physics contest at NASA, is an international science competition that has two age categories, namely: Junior, for under 18s and seniors for over 18s, allowing students from all countries to prove their skills and expose their creativity in the areas of Astronomy and Astrophysics.
