Mobility applications ask for security of services in the activity Bill

Companies that own mobility apps who work in Angola ask that the Bill to Regulate the Exercise of Taxi Activities on Digital Platforms take into account the security of services among the points of relevance, in a context in which the majority of economic agents operate on the informal side of the economy.

According to Emersom Paim, executive president of the Kubinga app, he defended the need to know the people who provide this type of service, factors such as possession of all legal documentation for vehicles to circulate on public roads, necessary technical and mechanical conditions, third-party insurance and passenger coverage, as well as suitability itself.

BUT: Mobility applications ask for more attention from service users to avoid robberies

Talking about these security elements, reinforced Émerson Paim, implies that operators must provide proof of a criminal record that proves their qualification to work in this type of services, one of the fundamental requirements being a driving license.

"In economic terms, it is imperative that the payment system is under the control of the platforms, in order to create conditions for commercial banking to intervene, in the near future, in relation to the investment potential that these businesses”, he defended.

Emerson Paim noted that platforms offer prices for all budgets, from the most modest to those with greater comfort, at a time when the creation of shared rides is in the works, a system in which several people can share the price of a ride depending on the distance to each of them.

  1. This way, instead of worrying about competition, your application has lost the network. He is still more concerned with laws, regulations and other things.
Maybe that's a way for him to appear, since Kubinga is almost gone. Who uses Kubinga the most nowadays?
