Microsoft shows you upgrade Windows XP to Windows 10 for free

Windows 10

At this point, everyone should know that Microsoft will “offer” Windows 10 for a year. As long as the user has Windows 7 or 8.1, they can upgrade to Windows 10 for free.

But some users are a bit behind on this promotion, fearing Microsoft will block their dubious originals. On the other hand, anyone who has Windows XP and Vista, is also out of free upgrade. But is there any way to change that?

Microsoft has clarified this issue and there is good news:

If you install the latest trial version of Windows 10 (build 10130) and use a Microsoft account that is registered to the Windows Insider program, then you will gain access to final version of Windows 10 for free. And no need to worry, Windows 10 will be genuine and everyone will be able to reinstall from scratch.

In short:

If you are using XP or Vista and want to get a free copy of Windows 10, simply install the Windows 10 Preview now and will have a free copy of the final version on July 29th.

There are no more excuses to use an operating system with a “pirate” license.
