Mozambique: Millennium bim transfers are now possible with all mobile operators in the country

Millennium bim has now become the first Mozambican bank to allow transfers of values ​​between bank accounts and electronic money accounts of all mobile telephone networks in the country.

This mobile interoperability of Millennium bim is thanks to the agreement closed with the Mobile Wallet of TMcel, added to the already established agreements with Vodacom and Movitel.

"Millennium bim customers can transfer values ​​between their bank accounts and electronic money from any mobile telephone network in the country. This is another very important step towards the expansion of the Bank's financial services and financial inclusion in Mozambique. ”, reads the official statement from the banking institution.

On the same note, Millennium bim informs that it has prioritized investment in the development of its entire digital platform, in order to provide the best solutions for its customers, and where thanks to the capacity for innovation, translated into the launch of new products and services digital, which it was able to respond quickly and effectively, as well as the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

"In 2021, more than 62% of our customers used Millennium bim's digital services on a monthly basis, in a total of 160 million digital channels, which clearly demonstrates the enormous popularity and adherence to our platforms”, adds the same statement.

It should also be noted that with this expansion in all mobile operators in Mozambique, Millennium bim reveals that in this way it tries to reinforce its commitment to actively contribute to improving the digital experience of its customers, through the development of innovative solutions, allowing banking processes to be make it easier, faster and safer.
